This strategy looks at the city’s water management as part of the wider Our Manchester Strategy. It aims to:
- improve the quality and function of river valleys and catchments
- ensure river valleys and sustainable drainage are key components of new developments
- improve accessibility to river valleys
- promote a wider understanding of the benefits of river valleys and sustainable drainage
- improve flood management and risk mitigation.
