    Support available

    This service offers one‑to‑one employment support for young adults aged 19 to 30 who live in Manchester.

    Support is flexible and designed around individual needs.
    Sessions are delivered by experienced mentors in a supportive setting.


    What support includes

    During one‑to‑one sessions, mentors can help with:

    • information and advice about work and next steps
    • job searching support
    • writing or improving CVs
    • completing job applications
    • interview preparation and practice
    • finding skills training, including:
      • Manchester Adult Education Service (MAES) courses
      • volunteering opportunities

    Mentors can also help people deal with barriers to work and connect them to other support, such as:

    • housing advice
    • ESOL support
    • help with money or financial issues

    Digital and data support

    Support is available to help people get online and feel confident using digital tools.

    This includes:

    • free mobile data through the National Databank
    • access to loan devices, where available
    • referrals to further digital inclusion support

    Support is personalised and focused on building confidence, skills, and realistic next steps.
