We work with the Royal British Legion to honour the UK's Armed Forces, veterans and their families.
What's happening?
- Events across the city throughout the year, including Remembrance Sunday, Armistice Day, and community activities.
- Large poppies displayed in key locations.
- Poppies for sale in parks, cafés and libraries.
- Schools and community groups invited to take part.
This partnership helps us remember the sacrifices made by service personnel. That includes veterans from African, Caribbean and South Asian communities. And it supports those still serving today.
