As the Deputy Ballot Holder for the ballot held in respect of the Proposed Northern Quarter Business Improvement District BID Ballot within Manchester City Centre, I certify and declare as follows:

  • The total number of votes cast in the ballot excluding any votes given on ballot papers rejected: 198
  • The aggregate rateable value of each hereditament in respect of which a person voted in the ballot: £20,258,250
  • The total number of votes cast in favour of the BID proposals: 182
  • The aggregate rateable value of each hereditament in respect of which a person voting in the ballot has voted in favour of the BID proposals: £19,084,750

I hereby declare that the Proposed Northern Quarter Business Improvement District BID Ballot within Manchester City Centre is approved, as a majority of the Business Ratepayers in the proposed BID area who voted, voted in favour of the proposal, both by aggregate rateable value and numbers voting.
