Alternative mandatory condition

  1. Summary

    An Alternative Mandatory Condition can be applied for in two ways: 

    • as part of an application for a New Premises Licence; or
    • as a distinct application where an existing licence is in place;

    Community premises usually fall into one of the following categories:

    • premises that are or form part of a church hall, chapel hall or other similar building; or
    • premises that are or form of a village hall, parish hall or community hall or other similar building;

  5. Validity and renewals

    The Licence is valid whilst the premises is used for licensable activities and subject to annual fees. We will automatically raise an invoice for the annual fee.

  6. Register

    The electronic premises licensing register is currently unavailable. a copy of the register is available for inspection on request, please email premises.licensing@manchester.gov.uk to make an appointment to view between 9am - 5pm at the Licensing Unit, Level 1, Town Hall Extension, Manchester, M2 5DB.
