Summary
An Alternative Mandatory Condition can be applied for in two ways:
- as part of an application for a New Premises Licence; or
- as a distinct application where an existing licence is in place;
Community premises usually fall into one of the following categories:

premises that are or form part of a church hall, chapel hall or other similar building; or

premises that are or form of a village hall, parish hall or community hall or other similar building;

Validity and renewals
The Licence is valid whilst the premises is used for licensable activities and subject to annual fees. We will automatically raise an invoice for the annual fee. -
Register
The electronic premises licensing register is currently unavailable. a copy of the register is available for inspection on request, please email premises.licensing@
manchester.gov.uk to make an appointment to view between 9am - 5pm at the Licensing Unit, Level 1, Town Hall Extension, Manchester, M2 5DB. -
