People and communities The Armed Forces Community Covenant

We are proud to have signed the Armed Forces Community Covenant – a promise by the nation to make sure that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, are recognised for their contribution to our protection and are treated fairly.

The covenant is built around partnership and collaboration with veterans organisations, wider public service providers, businesses and the armed services.

We work with these organisations to understand the challenges of military life and to provide the services and support members of the armed forces, ex-service personnel, veterans and their families require. Our aim - to make sure no one is disadvantaged as a result of their military service.

If you are a veteran, reservist, family of, or professional working with, our armed forces toolkit gives you the tools and resources you need to seek help and support.

We maintain a covenant action plan with our partners and meet regularly throughout the year to shape and strengthen our covenant priorities.
