About this plan
This plan is relevant to everyone who lives, works, studies in or visits Manchester. This is because it is everyone’s responsibility to ensure disabled children, young people, adults and older people in Manchester can play a full part in society by exercising all their rights and the equality of opportunity to access services, facilities and support they are entitled to.
Throughout the plan there are a number of quotes from disabled people who contributed to the consultation that has supported development of this plan. These will be in quotes like this:
