Removal of vehicles

We operate a vehicle pound and storage area for vehicles that have been removed due to following:

  • contravening parking restrictions;
  • parking in such a manner, that is is potentially dangerous and/or an obstruction to other road users; or
  • having no valid tax.

Persistent offenders and evaders of parking tickets (i.e. those with unpaid parking tickets) who continually disregard parking regulations may also have their vehicle removed.

If your vehicle has been removed contact the Vehicle Pound to get it back.

The pound is open from 10am to 10pm every day except Christmas Day.

Vehicles will only be released when we are satisfied you are the owner, you will be required to provide:

  • log book (V5); and 
  • keys for the vehicle. 

And 2 of the following : 

  • driving licence;
  • council tax documents;
  • passport; or 
  • NI card.

No other form of identification will be accepted.
