Within the city centre public toilets can be located at the Town Hall Extension, on Lloyd Street, the new facility replaces the previous toilets, on Mount Street which have now closed. CCTV has been installed in order to deter anti-social behaviour, while enhanced facilities for disabled people are also available.

Also a number of businesses have joined City Co's in conjunction with the City Council to launch City Loos, a community toilet scheme that encourages retailers and venues to allow visitors to use their facilities, whether they're a customer or not.
