Whether it's a few overnight stays each month, care at the weekend, during the week or in the holidays, providing a short break for a disabled child or young person can be invaluable support for them. You will get an allowance.

Do you have a disabled child in your family?

You can get regular short breaks from the pressures of daily care. A short break can be an hour or two through to a week away from home. It can include daytime, evening, overnight, weekend and holiday activities.
