Telephone support
If you cannot apply online, we can help you apply by phone. Please be aware that applying by phone will not speed up your application and calls can take up to an hour. Applying online is usually the quickest and easiest option.
Before you call
When you apply, we’ll ask for some information to help us complete your claim. Having everything ready before you call will make the application quicker and easier.
What you’ll need
- Recent wage slips and details of any benefits you receive
- Recent bank statements
- Your National Insurance number
- Your tenancy agreement, if you rent your home
- Your self-employed accounts, if this applies to you
- The full names, dates of birth, and income or benefit details of everyone who lives in your household
