Grave options in our Manchester cemeteries
Our cemeteries all have options for new graves, existing graves and public graves. You can also pre-purchase a grave.
We present the options as costed packages: these are priced according to whether the grave-owner and/or the deceased is/was a Manchester resident. You can choose whether or not to include a service in the Chapel. See our additional information about buying a grave.
New graves
Birch - new grave and burial:
Both grave owner and deceased are Manchester residents £2397
One or other is a Manchester resident £3172
Neither the grave owner or the deceased is a Manchester resident £4056
Beech - new grave, with service in Chapel and burial:
Both grave owner and deceased are Manchester residents £2622
One or other is a Manchester resident £3464
Neither the grave owner or the deceased is a Manchester resident £4404
Private Baby grave (age 4 and under):
Both grave owner and deceased are Manchester residents £585
One or other is a Manchester resident £1266
Neither the grave owner or the deceased is a Manchester resident £1883

Burial in existing grave
- Chestnut: re-open grave and burial, Manchester resident £1100 (non-resident £1870)
- Whitebeam: re-open grave, use of Chapel for service and burial, Manchester resident £1250(non-resident £2102)
Pre-purchase of a grave, for future use. Includes grave selection:
- Ash: Manchester resident £1986 (non-Resident £3440)

Public Graves
Each public grave accommodates four burials (adults) for Manchester residents only:
- Burial in shared public grave: £237 (non-resident £1870)
- Burial in shared public grave with Chapel: £369 (non-resident £2102)
- Unborn child (under 24 weeks) in shared public baby grave: Manchester resident £96 (non-resident £180)
If you want an exclusive grave for your family you need to buy a standard grave.
