Applications for premises to be approved as a venue for marriages in pursuance of section 26(1)(Bb) of The Marriage Act 1949 and civil partnerships in pursuance of section 6 (3a)(A) Of The Civil Partnerships Act 2004.

Applications have been made by:

  • Halle Concerts Society on behalf of Halle St Peter's, 40 Blossom Street, Ancoats, Manchester M4 6BF (published on 23 March 2026)

The applications, together with a plan of the premises that accompanied them, may be inspected at the Registration Office, Manchester City Council, Heron House, 47 Lloyd Street, Manchester M2 5LE from 8.15am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday. Any person may give notice in writing of an objection to the grant of approval of such application, with reasons for the objection within 21 days from the date of publication for the relevant application. Such notice of objection should be sent to the Registration Office at Heron House, 47 Lloyd Street, Manchester M2 5LE, and will be made known to the applicant.
