Fireworks

Be safe, not sorry

If you're thinking of having a fireworks party make sure to follow the Fireworks Code to limit the risk of accidents. The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) website has all the information you need to limit the risk of accidents.

Prepare for the party in advance, and in daylight. Don't forget to protect any pets in the house or neighbouring properties - there's advice on the RSPCA website for Bonfire Night

It's illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to buy fireworks, and you must finish your firework display before 11pm (midnight on 5 November.) See the Government's website for full detail of the law around fireworks.
