Consultations and surveys Draft Tree and Woodland Action Plan consultation

This consultation has now closed

Trees play a key role in defining the character and attractiveness of Manchester’s neighbourhoods contributing to biodiversity, climatic, air quality and many other benefits.

We have just undertaken an exhaustive appraisal of the City's treescape; you can read more details in the Growing Manchester’s Trees report and ward-specific posters.

We are currently refreshing the Tree and Woodland Action Plan.

We want to make sure that we cover a range of actions to enable the City’s trees to be cared for not just by the Council but by all stakeholders, including interested residents and partner organisations.

It’s important that everyone in the City has the chance to influence the Tree and Woodland Action Plan.

Download the Draft Tree and Woodland Action Plan - Appendix one.

We are consulting on the draft until Sunday 7 January 2024, and we would welcome your views through a short questionnaire.
