About St Peter’s Square

Forming a significant part of the regeneration of Manchester’s Civic Quarter, st Peter's Square is at the core of the regional centre and contains some of the city’s most important heritage buildings. Major infrastructure and public realm investment has included the transformation of St Peter’s Square, and the restoration and refurbishment of Central Library and the Town Hall complex. This has been the catalyst for significant investment in high quality new and refurbished commercial space, including No.1 and No.2 St Peter’s Square:

  • Manchester’s first double stack hotel – Crowne Plaza and Staybridge 
  • Motel One – 328 beds 
  • Stay City – 256 beds.
