Close to the Town Hall is the emerging development of St Michael’s, located between Albert Square and Deansgate, and encompassing the former Bootle Street Police Station. It offers a strategically advantageous position between Spinningfields, the Central Business District and the Oxford Road Corridor. Historic assets, such as the Sir Ralph Abercromby pub, will be retained, along with the façade of the former police station, which will be integrated into the development.
