Getting to Heaton Park
Public transport
Metrolink offers Park and Ride car parks right across the tram network which are free to use for Metrolink customers. The Park and Rides at Bury Interchange, Radcliffe and Whitefield offer a quick and easy way to get to Heaton Park and Bowker Vale stops, both of which are within just a few minutes walking distance of the park. Arriving by car
For car park access use either Sheepfoot Lane, Smithy Lodge or St Margaret's Road entrances.

Pay and Display charges apply every day between 10am and 5pm. The maximum daily cost is £3.50. Annual parking permits are available.
Disabled parking is available in all our car parks. You can park in any bay, it doesn't have to be a specific disabled bay, but your Blue Badge must be visible. Pay and display fees do not apply to disabled badge holders.
Pedestrians and cyclists
All our entrances are suitable for pedestrians and cyclists and are located on St Margaret's Road, Bury Old Road, Sheepfoot Lane and Middleton Road. A map of the park can be found here.
