Lendlease was appointed as Management Contractor for the Our Town Hall Project in early 2019. Like us, they are committed to ensuring that local suppliers, SME’s and local employees are able to benefit from the opportunities that this project gives.
You or your business may not have previously worked with Lendlease or any other main contractor, but don’t let that stop you expressing your interest.
This project offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play your part in the refurbishment and partial restoration of this iconic building, to safeguard it and preserve its rich heritage for the people of Manchester. Work will include bringing the building up to modern day standards, improving access, allowing visitors to move around the building more easily, and increasing the visibility of the Town Hall’s many treasures.
Many exciting opportunities will be created that will have a positive impact on the local community, such as 150 apprenticeships and 45 new jobs; all targeted at giving Manchester residents the chance to be involved with the Our Town Hall Project.
