Free internet access is available in all Manchester libraries.
You can:
- connect your own laptop, tablet or phone to free wifi
- use a library computer for free if you are a library member.
Library staff may be able to help you get online. Many libraries also offer extra support sessions for people who need help using the internet.
Using a library computer
Library computers are free for library members.
- Members can use a computer for up to two hours at a time. Sessions may be extended if a computer is available.
- Members who are aged 60 or over, or who are visually impaired, can use a computer for up to three hours a day.
- Computer access ends 15 minutes before the library closes.
If you're not a library member
You can use a library computer for £2 for up to one hour. Proof of identity is required.
Or join the library for free to become a member.
Book a computer
Computers can be busy, so we recommend booking in advance.
You can book by:
- contacting your local library
- visiting your local library and speaking to a member of staff
- booking your next session while using a library computer
