About this library
Since we opened, the light-converting panels on our roof and south wall have generated enough energy to power a street of 3-bed houses for 35 years. We share this dramatic and inspirational building – with North Manchester Sixth Form College and our stunning, modern atrium entrance now welcomes the whole community. Come and immerse yourself.

Regular opening times
- Monday and Tuesday 9am to 8pm
- Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday 9am to 5pm
- Friday Closed
There is a free digital Skill Up workshop every Tuesday from 10am to 12.15pm with staff from Manchester Adult Education Service.
Age Friendly Hour
Thursday, 10am to 12noon is Age Friendly hour when our older customers get priority support and a friendly welcome.
Story Time
Story time for under 5s runs weekly during term time only.
