Community event fund now closed
Funding is available for:
- Large-scale cultural events (5,000+ attendees) with citywide impact
- Events that are celebratory in nature, promoting cultural identity and community pride
- Not-for-profit organisations with a governing document and proven event delivery experience
- Events that are non-commercial, inclusive, environmentally conscious, and aligned with Manchester’s Zero Carbon 2038 goals
- Events located within the City of Manchester boundaries
- Free to access events
Funding will not support:
- Religious, political, or single-issue events
- Conferences, conventions, exhibitions, or seminars
- Commercial, private, or not-for-profit events
- Neighbourhood-specific events limited to one area or ward
- Events outside the City of Manchester or lacking citywide engagement
