Our impact in 2025/26
Our teams work with residents across the city on many types of climate action. Here are some highlights of their work in the tax year 2025/26:
- £154,000 of Your Neighbourhood Funds spent on community-led projects supporting climate action
- 9,976 people went to events with climate change information
- 9,000 people engaged on climate change in a meaningful way
- 561 bicycles repaired at events
- 51 road closure events promoting air quality, road safety and active travel
- 27,356 bulbs and herbs planted
- 944 bags of litter picked up
- 50 household referrals to the GMCA retrofit portal
- 15 new places to fill a water bottle for free added to the Refill app
- 90 activities focused on engaging with young people
