What is RADEQUAL
Working together for stronger communities.

We are RADICAL. We are EQUAL. = RADEQUAL.
This campaign started in 2016. It was made with local people, for local people.
It follows three simple ideas. We call them the Three C’s:
1. Challenge
We look at the challenges that may worry people in their area. This helps us spot things that might cause problems or tension.
We look at:
- Local events or incidents
- People's feelings and actions
- Not just facts and figures.
2. Connect
We bring people and groups together. This helps build trust and stronger communities.
We:
- Help neighbours meet and talk
- Support local groups and organisations
- Welcome new voices
- Encourage long-time residents to get involved.
3. Champion
We stand up for fairness and equality. We celebrate what makes Manchester special, the diversity in the city.
We:
- Share values like respect and kindness
- Help people talk about tough topics
- Ask big questions to build strong thinking
- Work to stop hate and protect those at risk.
