Manchester City Council is delighted to confirm that our free annual conference for wraparound and school-age childcare providers will take place on Saturday 13th June 2026 at the Hough End Centre, Mauldeth Road West, Chorlton, Manchester, M21 7SX.
The theme will be
- sustainability,
- focusing on supporting the continuation
- and growth of school age childcare provision all year round,
- including those schools/settings which have expanded through the wraparound expansion programme.
It will include

We will also be joined by colleagues from Ofsted and the Department of Education to explore how providers in all forms of school-age childcare (Free Breakfast Clubs, Wraparound Childcare, Holiday care and HAF) can support children and families year-round with high quality sustainable provision.
