Use these questions and notes to prepare your approach to Home Education. It may be useful to copy and paste this table into your own document.

1	What are your aspirations for your child’s home education?	This could include: GCSE / A levels College or University T levels / Apprenticeships Anything else?
2	How do you plan the activities your child completes?	This could include: You plan according to your child’s needs / interests. You follow the National Curriculum. You use a commercially available planning tool. Mixture of the above
3	How do you measure your child’s progress?	This could include: Reviewing your child’s work Testing / Quizzes Other professional e.g. tutor supportwith this Mixture of the above
4	Is your child working at alevel that's appropriate for theirage?	This could include: If you follow the National curriculum,your child is working at a levelappropriate for their age. E.g. they arethe same age as national Y3 and thework they complete is Y3. They are working above their age. The are working below their age.
5	Does the education you provide include a systematic approach to English and Maths in accordance with your child’s age, ability, aptitude and any SEND? If so, what are they?	This could include: Commercially available schemes / online tutoring Textbooks / online curriculum Do you include reading, writing and handwriting? How you ensure your child is making sufficient progress in English and Maths?
6	How do you provide a broad range of learningopportunities, showing abreadth and depth of knowledge across avariety of subjects, topicsand disciplines.
