Schools where we propose to reduce Reception places
These changes would start from September 2027.
Community and voluntary controlled schools:
- Birchfields Primary School – from 90 to 60
- Broad Oak Primary School – from 90 to 30
- Claremont Primary School – from 90 to 60
- Heald Place Primary School – from 90 to 60
- New Moston Primary School – from 75 to 60
- Plymouth Grove Primary School – from 60 to 30
This consultation only covers schools where Manchester City Council is the admission authority.
Other schools holding their own consultations
Some schools manage their own admissions. These include academies and faith schools. The following schools will hold or have held their own consultation to reduce their PAN:
- Baguley Hall Primary School
- Benchill Primary School
- Cavendish Primary School
- Newall Green Primary School
- Oasis Academy Temple
