Our area is made up of 32 wards, and is covered by five parliamentary constituencies. Everyone in the area of Manchester is represented by:

Three local councillors - elections are held in three out of every four years
A Member of Parliament - Parliamentary Elections are held every five years
A Mayor of Greater Manchester - elections are held every four years (the first term will be for 3 years)
