Skateboarding in parks
Skateboarding is a well established sport linked to a strong fashion and music culture. We are committed to encouraging young people to exercise and engage in activities through provision of sports they enjoy, based in a safe and secure environment.
The parks have well built pipes, banks, hips and grind rails and incorporate excellent transitions, and include elements that are unique to Manchester, with the added benefit of complementing each other, achieving a different experience at each site.
All sites meet the European PAS35 standards, and the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA) has been involved from the outset to ensure that these standards were achieved.
