Information available online

Planning applications

Public Access displays the textual records for all planning applications within the City of Manchester since 1974. This information includes a full description of the proposal, the type and status of the application and important dates such as the date of validation and the date of decision.

A copy of the decision for all applications is available through the Documents tab. For applications determined before 1 October 2005, this will be a Register Entry, which reproduces all the content of the original notice. For applications made since 1st October 2005, the associated documents, such as the application form, plans and decision notice are available to view.

Planning appeals

Public Access provides details of all appeals lodged since May 2003. The information available includes important dates during the appeal process and the information also includes a link to the relevant planning application or enforcement notice for the particular appeal.

Enforcement action

Information on enforcement and breach of condition notices that have been issued since 2001. The information includes details of the nature of the enforcement case and a copy of the notice is available to view online.
