Local level data employment data can be access from the Intelligence Hub, where you can view and download the data on a map and a chart.
Reports
A number of reports have been produced by the council relating to Employment. These cover a number of themes, including hours and earnings, employment by industry sector and National Insurance number registrations by overseas nationals.
A number of reports are also available relating to the Economy.
External data and intelligence
The ONS conduct a number of surveys relating to employment including :
- Labour Force Survey (LFS) which details employment rates by age and sex.
- The Vacancy Survey, conducted every month, and measures the number of vacancies which are being recruited to from outside the organisation.
