Description of proposed variation as given by the applicant:

310 Deansgate is a restaurant bar on the corner of Deansgate and Tonman Street.  The current permitted hours on Friday and Saturday evenings are as follows:

1. Opening hours: 10:30 – 02:30
2. Sale of alcohol by retail, on and off sales; playing of recorded music, indoors only; performance of live music, indoors only: 10:30 – 02:00
3. Late night refreshment, indoors only (LNR): 23:00 – 02:00
The Application seeks the following variations to the premises licence:
1. To extend the permitted hours on Friday and Saturday evenings by one hour, from 02:00 to 03:00, for the following licensed activities: sale of alcohol (on and off sales), the playing of recorded music (indoors only), the performance of live music (indoors only).
2. To extend the permitted hours on Friday and Saturday evenings for LNR (indoors only), by one hour, from 02:00 – 03:00.
3. To extend the current opening times for Friday and Saturday evenings by one hour, from 02:30 to 03:30.
4. To replace the conditions in Annex 2 and Annex 3 of the premises licence with a more comprehensive operating schedule with accompanying policies (pertaining to arrival and admission; dispersal; smoking) to support the operation of the premises more generally, and the evenings for which the additional hour is sought.
5. To update the licensing plan to reflect a change in licensed area / layout, namely:
- Basement: kitchen relocated from ground floor.
- Ground floor: relocation of bar area; adjusted seating zones (reduced mini-mezzanine seating area on front of bar / enhanced entrance level seating area) and additional fixed seating.
- First floor: relocation of bar area (into previous WC area, noting disabled WC facilities are retained); dedicated DJ space (raised area); reconfigured fixed seating
- Purpose of variation to layout is to reconfigure the space to enhance customer service and satisfaction, visibility and flow through the space.
No other changes to the premises licence are being sought.

Current hours: Sun to Thu 11pm to 12:30am, Fri to Sat 11pm to 2am
Proposed hours: Sun to Thu 11pm to 12:30am, Fri to Sat 11pm to 3am

The provision of late night refreshment will take place indoors

Supply of alcohol for consumption both on and off the premises:
Current hours: Sun to Thu 10:30am to 12:30am, Fri to Sat 10:30am to 2am

Friday, Saturday, Sunday preceding a Bank Holiday and Bank Holiday Monday: one additional hour
Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday of Easter Bank Holiday: one additional hour
Christmas Eve, Boxing Day: one additional hour
