Northern Lights Manchester start at Lakeside Adventure

Book your tickets with Northern Lights Manchester. Time slots from 4.15pm to 10.30pm (last bookable slot 8.15pm)
Light up your winter evening. The one mile long walk around Heaton Park takes you on an adventure through approximately 14 illumination zones, each with their own unique personalities and tasty pit stops along the way.
We have our Christmas Village full of cracking local food, delicious drinks and plenty of festive cheer!
Chanukah at the Park

We're delighted to welcome back L'chaim Chabad Lubavitch for family-friendly activities in celebration of Chanukah. Free and drop-in at the Classroom next to the Stables Cafe.
Family Walk Party
Sunday 21 December 2025, 10.50am to 12pm
On the shortest day of the year, get outside and join us for a Family Walk Party! We’ll go on a short walk or wheel up to Heaton Hall and the Stables Cafe, following the family-friendly Winter Trail. Meet at 10:50am for 11am start at the Middleton Road entrance to Heaton Park (opposite Bowker Vale Primary School). Free and no booking necessary - just turn up!
Winter Trail
Mid-December 2025 to February 2026
Pick up a free trail map from Reception (by the Stables Cafe) and follow our family-friendly Winter Trail! This short walk takes you through scenic areas of the Park in search of fun winter characters.
