More than 100 work packages will be available across the six years of the Town Hall project covering:
- conservation of the building's many heritage features
- mainstream construction work, such as mechanical and electrical engineering, pointing, and scaffolding
- landscaping and repairing Albert Square.
We're particularly keen to attract local companies to work with us on the project.
We'll be holding our first event for businesses interested in this project on Wednesday 28 February at the Town Hall where you will hear presentations from the design team giving you a deeper understanding of the varied types of work available.
You'll be able to get in to the Town Hall from 8am, the meeting will start at 8.30am and finish at 10am.
There will also be the opportunity to meet potential management contractors and to network with other suppliers, plus organisations who offer support to SMEs in Greater Manchester.
