How we deal with ASB
We can often stop ASB through early action. This may be:
- A conversation with the person involved.
- An interview with the person involved.
- Other informal steps to change their behaviour.
If the ASB continues, we may take formal action. See further information about the actions we can take.
Keeping you informed
You will:
- Have a named officer managing your case.
- Receive updates.
- Be able to contact your officer if you have any questions.
When your case will close
We will keep your case open until the ASB has stopped.
Before we close your case, we will talk to you about our decision.
Closing a case is an administrative step. If the ASB starts again, we can reopen your case.
