Report hate crime

If it's an emergency

• Call 999
• If you cannot speak, call 999 and:
  • Press 55 on a mobile
  • Or stay on the line for 45 seconds on a landline
  • Information on how to make a silent 999 call.

• If you are deaf, hard of hearing or have difficulty with speech or communication:

If the victim is safe or it’s not a crime

• Call Greater Manchester Police on 101. More ways to report to GMP.

Report hate crime on public spaces

You can report hate crime that involves:

• Offensive graffiti
• Flyposting
• Street furniture issues
• Highway safety problems.

Do not report here if it’s on:

• Private property
• Bus stops, phone boxes, post boxes
• Railway bridges
• Streetlights or bollards
• Property owned by a housing provider
• Manchester Business Improvement District property
• Electricity substations or roadside electrical boxes.
