Manchesters Serious Violence strategy 2022-2025 sets out how the Community Safety Partnership will fulfill the serious violence duty by working together to reduce serious violence through a public health approach. The approach focuses on Early Intervention and Prevention to tackle the route causes of violence such as poverty, trauma and social inequality.
The strategy embeds a partnership approach with collaboration between specified and required authorities including:

- Education
- Probation
- Youth Justice
- Childrens Services
- Adult Social Care
- Voluntary and community sector organisations.
