  2. Improvement details

    • Add ‘SLOW’ road marking
    • Refresh 20mph roundel on carriageway
    • Install a build out with reflective bollard on the north side of Far Lane to create a chicane
    • Add road markings on Far Lane to show that traffic heading north needs to give way to traffic heading south when passing though the chicane.
    • Resurface the footway on the East side of the junction with Hyde Road, build it out to slow approaching traffic, install 2 reflective bollards, remark double yellow lines around proposed build-out and replace tactile paving at crossing point.
    • Add two sets of SLOW markings on Hyde Road on the approach to Far Lane
