Improvement details
Works now complete.
- Add double yellow lines on both sides of Highfield Street from east of the junction with Greenland Street and continuing on both sides of Halliwell Lane up to the junction with Carstairs Close.
- Install additional speed cushions
- Refresh all road markings and coloured surfacing
- Raise the tree canopy to make warning signs more visible
- Improvements to existing signs (i.e. to prevent them being rotated)
