Summary
A HMO licence may be varied either by agreement with the licence holder or by us if there has been a material change in circumstances since the the licence was granted. -
Application and guidance notes

Attachments required
a) plans at 1:50 scale showing any changes; b) building regulation approval; c) planning consent; d) safety certificates, if previous expired. -
Processing and timescales
8 weeks. Tacit Consent will not apply due to public safety.
A variation to licence will be granted if:
- the property is suitable for the proposed changes;
- the management arrangements are still satisfactory;
- any new proposed manager, who is not the licence holder, has control of the house, and is a fit and proper person.
