Install safety screens - hackney carriage/private hire vehicle

You may apply to install safety screens in a private hire vehicle or replace the partition screens in a hackney carriage vehicle when submitting a new or renewing existing licence. The screens must be provided and fitted by an approved supplier and will be inspected as part of the full vehicle inspection.Additional conditions relating to safety screens will apply and are automatically added to a new licence. If you are installing before renewal you will be required to complete an undertaking form confirming you accept these additional conditions.
