  1. Summary

    If you're a building contractor or in building development and believe your project is likely to have a significant impact on neighbouring premises from noise or vibration it is recommended that you apply for prior consent.

    You may be invited to do so via a planning application.

  2. Fees

    No fee.

  3. Application and guidance notes

    You should let local residents know, give them contact details and apply for prior consent (section 61), before the work starts.
