Summary
Temporary directional signs are used to promote an event, including charity events or a project i.e. housing developments.
Only apply for a temporary directional signs from us if the location falls within Manchester City Council check which council.

Fees
Events can have up to 16 signs for:
- seven days at a cost of £35, or
- a maximum of two months at a cost of £116;
Housing developments can have up to four signs, for a maximum of six months, at a cost of £500
All applications also have an administration fee applied of £159

Attachments required
- Public Liability Insurance, not less than 10 million;
- A scale of the site showing the position of the structure/obstruction on the road or pavement; and/or
- If you want a sign on a Street Lighting Column (SLC), then provide the SLC number and a photo identifying the location;
