Single-use Plastics

  1. Standards information

    1. You must comply with all current legislation in respect of single-use plastics. Do not use, distribute, or sell any banned single-use plastics; this currently includes single-use plastic straws, drinks stirrers, plates, bowls, trays, containers, cutlery, cotton buds, balloon sticks and polystyrene cups.

    2. Ensure you apply the appropriate charge for the use of single-use plastic bags. Retailers of any size must charge a minimum of 10 pence for single-use carrier bags.

    3. It is our mission to create a more sustainable and carbon zero market environment. Therefore, we encourage you to source alternative environmentally friendly solutions to all your single-use plastic products.
