What is your personal information used for?
The Council uses your personal data for the following reasons:
Submitted statements will be used to shortlist and select applicants for the Making Manchester Fairer Programme Board
Information on protected characteristics provided through the application form will be used to understand whether our recruitment campaign has been accessible and effective for different communities. It will not be used as part of the shortlisting and selection process.
Names, contact numbers and email addresses will be used for the purpose of contacting applicants regarding the outcome of the process.

Who will we share your personal information with?
Videos and supporting statements will be shared with named officers and senior representatives of Manchester City Council for the purpose of shortlisting and selecting applicants.
Names will be shared with the elected members of Manchester City Council who chair the Making Manchester Fairer Programme Board and Communities and Power Forum.

How long will we keep your information?
Your information (application form, video and written statement) will be kept for three months following the closing date of the application process, which is March 2025.
