  1. What's happening

    Road safety school signs

    Road safety signs have been installed at the following locations to improve safety during pick-up and drop-off times:

    • Haveley Hey – 5 signs
    • Ashgate – 5 signs

    This project aims to improve school safety and traffic management around these areas.

    Hollyhedge Park car park – fixing drainage

    Drainage improvements are underway at the Hollyhedge Park carpark to prevent flooding and improve the area for park users.

    Other projects

    • We're installing nine age-friendly benches.
    • We're installing five 'Bee' bollards outside Asda on Hollyhedge Road.
    • We're adding double yellow lines and ten 'Bee' bollards on Cedars and Musgrave Road.
    • We're implementing impact mitigation measures for Wythenshawe FC, including double yellow lines at the junctions of Edgecote Road/Altrincham Road, Grosvenor Road/Altrincham Road, Stancliffe Road/Norwell Road, Stancliffe Road/Chaffinch Close, Stancliffe Road/Goldcrest Close, and Stancliffe Road/Dunstall Road.
    • We're adding speed cushions on Ashurst Road.
