Give way road markings and a "No Through Road" sign have been installed at the junction of Walker Road and Erskine Road to improve traffic safety.

Crab Lane Primary School - traffic safety improvements

This project involves implementing an Experimental Traffic Regulation Order (ETRO) to improve traffic safety around Crab Lane Primary School. The project includes:

• Implementing the ETRO to control traffic
• Reviewing the success of the ETRO
• Deciding whether to remove the ETRO or make it permanent

The goal of this project is to improve school safety and traffic management in the area.

Other projects

• We're installing  five new litter bins and emptying existing bins at various locations: Chapel Lane bus stop, Middleton Road bus stop outside Heaton Park Gold entrance, Chain Road - Lion and Lamb, Former Plant Hill Police Station, and Tweedle Triangle.
• We're implementing a 'grasscrete' solution on Munn Road to increase parking space and protect the grass verges.
