Armed Forces Day 2024

Manchester will pay tribute to the outstanding contribution of the nation’s armed forces with a special day of free activities in the city centre.

Formal ceremonies will begin at 11:30am with a military parade. There will be music and performances from the Lancashire Artillery Band throughout the day. 

Visitors will be able to witness an army light gun display, explore military archives, and try on weapons and military kits with Veterans Museum UK. 

Refreshments will be available.
