Let's Talk About It 

podcast series to engage all communities in honest and difficult conversations. It aims to provide a safe space online for people to listen on current topics

The series explores themes around:

  1. Nationalism and British identity. Exploring what both are and how these have changed and what are the drivers. 
  2. Fake news. Understanding what is it and how we can challenge it.
  3. Islamophobia. What is it, what does it look like, what are the drivers, what can we do.
  4. Rise of the Extreme Right Wing. What is the current picture. The issues driving hate and division.
  5. Race discrimination. How to respond to racist remarks.
  6. Freedom of speech. Hate vs Free speech.

This series is created by The Common Sense Network - a RADEQUAL funded project.

'Blame and Belonging' 

An interactive theatre show and workshop. A safe space to talk about hate, identity, and vulnerability.

'It's Time to Make a Change' - peer to peer youthwork resources  

Manchester Youth Zone heads up the North Manchester Youth Partnership. Their goal is to change the lives of young people from all backgrounds.  

They offer opportunities in:

  • Sports
  • Art and drama
  • Job skills training 
  • Support for mental health and wellbeing.
