The Community Safety Strategy
The current Community Safety Strategy is due to be updated.
The current strategy contains the following 5 priorities, agreed after consulting with residents, businesses and other stakeholders:
- Tackling crime and antisocial behaviour.
- Keeping children, young people, and adults with vulnerabilities safe.
- Protecting people from serious harm.
- Reducing the crime impact caused by alcohol and drugs.
- Changing and preventing adult offender behaviour.
Building community cohesion, early intervention and tackling serious and organised crime run throughout the 5 priorities.
Meeting these priorities helps to deliver the Our Manchester strategy and the vision of clean, safe, attractive and cohesive neighbourhoods.
